winter fungi finds

#1

Post by jowhitwell » January 25th, 2019, 3:46 pm

being a touch warmer this afternoon, we took a short walk in Clumber Park,
and here are a couple of fungi finds from our walk there, both very common ones, but nice to find in the depths of winter, (and a change from the usual puffballs i seem to find all the time )

a Dacrymyces species

and the old favourite, Turkey Tail

there is always something to see in the fungi line, its just getting out there and finding it, :)
and even the old turkeytail becomes an interesting find at these times :)
