no birds present a few minutes ago, but definite signs of their presence along the ledge, with the remains of a kill left on the ledge !

one thing i did notice was that the Ferris Wheel that was in the background, has dissapeared from view, and as it was there the last time i visited the cameras, it must have been removed over the last week or so ?

i've looked at the nest site several times today, but not seen any of the birds at the nest at all,
looking back at last years images, it was around this time that the nest had a blanket of snow when the first egg was laid,
see here for the post,
with a bit of luck they will miss the snow this year :)

i've drawn a blank over the last few days to, but this morning, (9:10am) one of the birds was sat in the nest box :)

regarding missing the snow, we got a brief spell of it last night, which covered the ground, but soon dissapeared,
so we are not out of the woods yet i'm afraid :)

one bird at the nest this morning around 10:30ish or so,
it had a spell of stone arranging in the nest, before it hopped onto the cill, where it soon went to sleep :)

the bird was still at the nest late afternoon, and i almost missed the fact that the other Peregrine was sat at the very far end of the ledge,
a marital tiff perhaps

not much activity at the nest over the last few days, in fact, looking at the nest several times yesterday, there was no birds seen at all,
but this morning around 10am, one bird sat on the ledge a few feet from the nest,
we must be getting close to that first egg now i would think ?

i thought i was going to witness the first egg being laid, :) as the bird was sitting in the nest and behaving differently than normal.
but after about 10 minutes watching, the bird decided it was not yet time for an egg to be laid and off she flew.

not really expecting to see anything, i had a look at the nest cams tonight about 8:15pm
and was surprised to see one of the birds in the nest !
and was even more surprised to see it leave the nest, and sit on the ledge overlooking the road for a few seconds before it flew off into the night sky !

i hadn't realised that they flew at night, but i suppose the city sky is much lighter at night with all the illumination from the buildings and street lighting,
