the Fungi for ID Forum rules,
in the interests of user safety we have applied the following rules to this form,

Please do not post any ID requests for the edibility or for "recreational" usage, in this (or any other) board,
identification of any fungi should not be relied on from this forum (or any other for that matter) to be totally accurate, as it is very easy to mistake any fungi for another one, especially from just a photograph alone, which could prove fatal to yourself if you were to eat the said fungi,

a small pale fungus for id please,
found in a bit of rough pasture, on light sandy soil.
about 2" or a little less across and about the same in height, nothing noticeable about the smell either
cap was dry and not slimy/sticky if that helps
just the single solitary one, no more visible in the area at all.

looks like one of the Agrocybe family I think,
could be one of several species though.

thanks Fungio, having googled for Agrocybe, I can see where it gets confusing,
I'll settle for it being just Agrocybe then :)
